Our own packing stations

La Calera’s main packing station is managed by Prolan, a sister company dedicated to post-harvest technology. Located near our main citrus and avocado producing area in Chincha, it has the capacity to process 700 tons of mandarins per day using the state-of-the-art technology that guarantees the post-harvest life of the fruit.

Mainly mandarins, but we also pack oranges and grapefruit into our two main brands: Gold Cup and Inka Gold.

Managed by Prolan, our avocado packing line is exclusively dedicated to packing La Calera fruit. This is a versatile line that also packs our pomegranates and additional citrus if necessary.

Hass avocado in different carton formats, but also some pomegranates in our Gold Cup and La Calera branded packaging.

Prolan, a La Calera sister company dedicated to post-harvest food technology runs this packing station. This is an exclusive packing station dedicated to our own grapes and located inside La Portada farm, so our grapes do not lose any time waiting to be packed and ready for shipping.

Located in the outskirts of Ica, a city 300 km south of Lima.

We pack our table grapes into our main brands, Gold Cup, Inka Gold, and La Calera, in a very wide array of boxes and cartons.

As a new venture, we have built a simple yet functional packing station for our organic bananas that runs 12 months a year.

Location.
Located in Huapalas, outside of Piura, it is conveniently built inside the Organic Banana farm.

We pack organic bananas into different brands.

This processing plant was built to minimize wastage. The non-exportable mandarins that do not meet our high-quality standards end up in this facility. The mandarins are peeled and processed into mandarin segments, which are then pasteurized into cans or cups.

Empafrut is a state-of-the-art facility located in Piura, which is dedicated to packing mangos, grapes, and avocados.
